'What is the ULTIMATE goal of the Watchtower Society? Well here it is here in a nut shell, they have either knowingly or unknowingly produced one of the most affective religious cults around, and their goal is to keep the door of those coming in flowing faster than those going out, and the GB will do anything to F*%k with people’s minds and hearts to keep them in. Lurkers, either wake up and smell the coffee, or take the red pill and drink the Kool Aid and jump in the GB body’s rabbit hole and enjoy the fall into the freek power trip.

Glad to meet you, I was forty three when the elders “non-lovingly” kicked my Arse out of the “non-Christian” congregation. They did me a favor really, the disfellowshiping enabled me to come to grips with the fact that the so called (“Truth”) as dispensed by the Jehovah’s Witnesses could not be the truth as directed an all wise and loving creator who made everything wonderful in the universe; and provided his son to redeem and ransom us all from our condemnation of death from father Adam and mother Eve. I have learned so much since being freed from this god dishonoring cult. “The truth shall set you free”, in more ways than one.

When you grow up in it, you think you have true - authentic - sincere friends. But it is conditional – dependent – stipulatory – relative – friendship - subject; meaning: (One who is under the rule of another or others, especially one who owes allegiance to a government or ruler) apparently you have to remain active in the in the religion.
They're not really friends, they are acquaintances or persons whom you know casually or as you might say without preparation or forethought. (I like this point that you typed:) “We were all marketing reps for the WT publishing company.” (True.) (Like I told my dad one time while I was setting on the commode after he handed me a Watchtower magazine to read while I was setting there, I said ah dad, can’t you hand me the funnies or something that is less stressful, he became incensed at me and said "Son!, the GB has their finger on the pulse of the world"; I said oh please dad, they are nothing more than a magazine printing company much like Readers Digest he became irate but he tossed me the Readers Digest anyway.)

My goodness, they are a religion and that is all; they have lied in most case’s caused family divisions and manipulated others with fear, completely distorted most of a persons priorities with those of their way out veiws, this religion somehow got parents to feel it was more important to ostracize and segregate their children emotionally in school so they would not be “worldly” by not taking part in holidays of pursuing a higher education to benefit themselves. Don’t misunderstand me here, the very fact that your asking this question, should cause you and others to give pause” just how is it that a religion somehow makes us feel we owe them anything. Think about this, It is not like joining the armed services, where you would be AWOL if you just walked away. Religions are voluntary, if my recollection serves me right.

My Uncle is Dying.
by LouBelle innearly a year ago my uncle was diagnosed with prostate cancer - he initially thought it was just a bladder infection and it took him passing out to go have more serious tests.
thus he received this news and shared it with us, his family.. the family rallied behind him and we all did everything we could to get him to his treatments, make sure he ate properly and supported him.
my cousins came out from the uk when it looked like he was going to die in a couple of days.

Is the Governing Body Guilty or not guilty of 1975 speculations going too far?
by Terry inthe most disengenuous aspect of "official" pronouncements from the society can be identified.. it is in the positioning of the speaker/writer as a passive onlooker commenting on exterior happenings.. this bystander mode is clever by half.. why?
it spoon feeds information without taking any active personal responsibility.. sort of an "oh gee, wow--look at all this going on" stance, while taking a stand-offish tone, is printed in the official magazines and books approved for publication by the governing body as mouthpiece of jehovah.. think about that.
it is insidious incitement without responsibility.. the person (likely fred franz) who crafted these bulletins had gone through several previous incidents of failure and disappointment and was well aware of the effect of any speculations upon jehovah's witnesses in the past.. this makes what was printed all the more calculated and irresponsible in the extreme.. let us parse the language printed by the watchtower society with careful attention to what is said and left unsaid.. w68 8/15 p. 494 why are you looking forward to 1975?.
